Fifteen years, five milestones

2011

One bench in Brooklyn

Founders Ana Verde and Jonah Dorman start taking commissions from a shared casting house in Greenpoint.

2014

Celeste, the first collection

Twelve platinum-and-diamond pieces sell out in a month and set the house's architectural tone.

2017

The recycled-metal switch

Verdora moves to 96% recycled gold and platinum, audited annually — years before it was expected.

2021

Grand Street atelier

Design, casting, setting, and finishing finally move under one roof in SoHo, with a viewing salon up front.

2025

The bespoke studio opens

A dedicated commission studio — and a promise: every bespoke client meets the goldsmith who makes their piece.

The hands behind the work

Ana Verde
Ana Verde Co-founder · Head of Design

Trained in Florence, obsessed with negative space. Sketches every collection piece by hand before it touches CAD.

Jonah Dorman
Jonah Dorman Co-founder · Master Goldsmith

Third-generation bench jeweler. If your ring has a hidden detail you found a year later, that was Jonah.

Ines Okafor
Ines Okafor Graduate Gemologist (GIA)

Sources and certifies every stone in the house. Has rejected more emeralds than she has approved, and is proud of it.

What we refuse to compromise

The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday. Bring a stone, a sketch, an inheritance, or nothing at all — the kettle is always on.
